Time flies...... according to height.

Man, time goes by fast.  As a parent, I have found that I can almost measure time by S1's height, but he is growing pretty fast right now which makes time speed up.  LOL.  He is tall by hubby and my standards, but most of his friends are just as tall or taller.  Can you believe it? S1 is going to be a tall kid.  He's still my baby though! ;)

It's EARTH DAY! (and my icky little secret)

What did you do to reduce your carbon footprint today? We recycled, upcycled and put a TON of stuff aside for donations.  Whew! OK, we have been working little by little on getting rid of stuff and getting reorganized, but then we saw a bug. Then we saw a few more.  We tried to get rid of them with a spray mixture of water, dish soap and peppermint oil but they just kept coming! I HATE BUGS. We caved and called the bug man who also happens to be our former neighbor. Because of having to get stuff out of the bug man's way, we had amp up our upcycling and donation efforts.  I have a lot of stuff in organized piles, ready for proper containers or 'get this out of the house' pile.  This weekend will be dedicated to our produce co-op, purging out the stuff we don't use and organizing the stuff we do use.  It has been a long time coming. *sigh* Happy Earth Day! (Oh, I almost forgot, I bought some cool cloth diapers for the noob today! I had to. They were on sale and they are super cute!)

Zapatos!

Si, me gusta mi zapatos! (ok, if fyou speak spanish, plmk if this sentence is correct! LOL)
I bought these Frye's lovelies on ebay a few weeks ago.  They are super comfy. However, the bigger I get, the less I can wear them because of the height. *sigh*  Don't worry dear supercuteshoes, you will be seen again soon.  Until then, I will be investing in some way lower wedges and flats. :/

Feeling kicks!

Hello lovelies! I am 15 weeks along and have been feeling little blips and movements here and there from the baby for about 3 weeks now.  Today however, the baby must've been uber hapy because I felt movement all day! EEEk! So exciting.  Ultrasound is scheduled for the first week of May.  Any bets on boy/girl? I honestly don't know this time.  My friend's 'walking ultrasound' friend said boy.  We'll see.  I've slipped up and called the baby 'she' already.  Either way, we'll find out because I need to know if I should donate the clothes that S3 is outgrowing or keep them! I.need.to.know. Hopefully S4 will be cooperative for Mommy and Daddy.  We haven't picked out a name yet but yeah, it'll start with an S. ;)

Do you remember.....

At the verrrrry beginning of this blog when I told you that my creativity comes in spurts? Well, here's the result of the latest need to be creative;
Onesies done with stencils from the book "Stencil 101" by Eric Roth of Stencil1. The book features 25 pages that tear out so you don't have to print, cut, etc just to get a decent stencil! Plus instructions and pages of ideas.  Cool eh?

Annnnnnnnnnnd I made some burp cloths and wash cloths with some fabric that I have been hanging onto.  I bought the flannel and chenille (with coupons!) and went to town! So we have a layer of cotton, then flannel then chenille.  Very soft and very absorbent.  What do you think?  ;)
